North Wales Pallets and Crates Manufacturer
The founding division of the P&A Group, P&A Pallets & Packing Cases has been supplying pallets and packing cases to businesses operating throughout North Wales and the Northwest for thirty years. During this time we have acquired a reputation for producing high quality, reliable products coupled with outstanding customer service.
We have been Heat Treating pallets and packing cases at Mold since 1998
The UK Government have stated the following:
From the 1st January 2021, it will be a legal requirement for all wood packaging material moving in both directions between UK and the EU to be compliant with a treatment and mark as specified in the International Standard for Phytosanitary measures No 15 (ISPM15)
Wooden pallets and packaging are subject to plant health controls when crossing international borders, often resulting in costly and frustrating delays whilst checks are carried out.
This is why P&A Pallets’ wood products comply with ISPM15; the internationally agreed standard for the treatment of all forms of packaging made from solid wood and helps protect the world’s forests from disease and trade from costly delays.
We are audited every 6 months to ensure compliance to the ISPM15 standard which requires that all non-manufactured wood must be stamped with official IPPC mark. Some countries may require the goods to be accompanied by a valid phytosanitary certificate – details are available on request.
